"I wanted to thank you for helping me develop a new skill set that is now put to practice. 2 days ago I had a trauma pt on the floor (yup I'm on a trauma service currently) who had "pulled his trach and is de-sating to the 70s" Needless to say I ran up. Very shortly after arrival I had the pt on high-flow NC and sats improved to 100%. He didn't have a respiratory problem, he had an airway i.e., an 02 delivery problem. After stabilizing the pt and the room, we got to the business of sorting out why he didn't seem to get enough air. Long story shorty...I ended up removing his trach, and placing an 8.0 ET tube via bronch through his trach site, and then swapping for a new trach over bougie. I never would have been able to do this comfortably or confidently prior to your course."

"Such a great course! I will highly recommend. The last lecture [Psychology of Airway Management]...was awesome! It was the best talk from a coach before the championship game!"

"Three month follow up after your course: thank you for all the great lectures during the course....I've been teaching your cric methods and other airway techniques on a weekly basis- The residents love it, thank you!"

"I really enjoyed the course and feel much more comfortable with fiberoptics and intubations in general. Every time I intubate now I hear your voice in the back of my head... tick tick tick uvula... tick tick tick epiglottis..."

"It was an awesome experience and so valuable to have a few days to absorb the combined experience of you, Dr. Murphy and Dr. Sloas. I picked up a lot of really valuable tips and concepts listening to you lecture, and the practice on the manikins was helpful to use the information immediately afterwards. Your method of teaching really helped concrete many of these ideas in my head, and I am grateful for this....I had been to the Tetons before, but for some reason it seemed so much more impressive...it was an amazing place for the conference."

"I learned a ton and had a great time!"

"It was one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited and we were so lucky to enjoy perfect weather and great company."

"I want you to know that you taught me the most of any physician in medicine through your airway course. Taking your first course established & secured my career. I don't have heroes, but I deeply appreciate your contribution to my career....I believe there are thousands of patients alive today through the knowledge and skills you have imparted to a broad swath of America's physicians."

"I wanted to say thanks again for having me at Jackson lodge. I am truly appreciative of the experience. The teaching was exceptional, I have no doubt that the remainder of my training and career will be influenced by this weekend. Thank you also for sharing about the ratio of death to beauty. I had no idea how much I needed a break from everything until I got to Wyoming! I will make time to enjoy simple things everyday and increase the ratio of joy in my life:)"

"I just wanted to say thank you again for having me up at your Jackson course. It was the single best educational experience of my life, and it's done more for my confidence as a doctor than I could have possibly hoped. I've had a whole rash of difficult airways the past few months, and every time I get started I just think about finding the epiglottis and it all comes together."
